Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani, a scholar, Islamic preacher, and political leader, was born on March 31, 1926, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Allama Shah Abdul Aleem Siddiqui, was a prominent disciple of Shah Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi. Shah Ahmad Noorani completed his education by graduating from National Arabic College in Meerut after memorizing the Quran and completing the study of Nizami. He then obtained a degree in Arabic from Aligarh University.

Allama Shah Abdul Aleem Siddiqui was a renowned preacher of his time. After his demise, Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani took up his mantle. He served as the Secretary-General of the World Muslim Scholars Organization from 1953 to 1964. He actively participated in the End of Prophethood Movement in 1953 and 1974. In 1970, he was elected as a member of the National Assembly on the ticket of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan. In 2003, he became a member of the Senate of Pakistan on the ticket of MMA and remained a senator until his demise.

Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani passed away on December 11, 2003, in Islamabad.
